William "Billy" Lee graduated from Georgia Southern University in 1991, with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. As part of his course studies, he interned with the United States Marshals Service.

Following graduation, Billy was employed with the United States District Court, Southern District of Georgia. There he was a Courtroom Deputy Clerk for the Honorable G. R. Smith, United States Magistrate Judge.

Billy’s investigative career began by conducting detailed background investigations on behalf of R.J. Reynolds and the other Big Tobacco Companies. After being transferred to Orlando, Florida his focus shifted to the defense of automobile manufacturers.

Since starting Defense Litigation Group, Inc., Billy’s focus has remained with most American and Foreign Automobile Manufacturers. In addition, he now specializes in automobile components specifically to include most tire manufacturers. His defense of products also includes motorcycle/ATV, Construction and Heavy Equipment, Scaffolding and Lifts, Machinery and Power Tools, and Marine Products. Billy is an All Lines Insurance Adjuster and Notary Public with the State of Florida. He is also a member of the Florida Association of Licensed Investigators (FALI).
