At the commencement of 2010, Defense Litigation Group began the year with a vision to transition from a company overwhelmed with paper and legacy processes, to an enterprise that incorporates technology throughout its business.  The initiative was named e-DLG.  As 2011 begins, the company is proud to have embraced technology, and its overwhelming efficiency and economic benefits.

In September 2010, Defense Litigation Group opened the Client Portal.  Through this Client Portal, clients can electronically access investigative reports and all related enclosures with the reports to include documents, photographs, recorded statements and video.  The response has been overwhelmingly positive.  Clients are excited to be able to save case information directly to their electronic files, receive reports faster and reduce delivery costs.  This process has reduced monthly report documents by nearly 15,000 pages.

In October 2010, Defense Litigation Group began the process of sending electronic invoices.  The electronic invoices are as detailed as the old paper invoices, and still include copies of every receipt.  Clients are able to easily review these documents, or forward them to the appropriate person for fast approval.  While the benefits to Defense Litigation Group are obvious, the clients have also appreciated reduced accounts receivable communications due to lost paperwork, or extended approval time from shuffling paper invoices through departments.

In addition to the above, employees now submit all expense reimbursements electronically.  This has proven to allow faster reimbursement, which is important as many of our investigators frequently travel for investigative assignments.
